Solar Panel Systems For Schools
Is there simply a better way to teach your students how they can make an impact on CO2 emmissions than to actively involve them in process.
With sophisticated metering systems that come with your system your students will be able to easily measure how much the school's solar panel system has saved the schools
CO2 emmissions
Electricity Consumption
Electricty Bills.
Students will gain a greater undertsanding of sustainable living and obtain pride in actively taking part in reducing CO2 and saving the planet from climate change.
There are two options available to schools to start their school's solar power program.
Government Incentives
All the current government incentives available to homeowners including:
Renewable Energy Credits RECS
Solar Credit Scheme SCS &
Feed in Tariffs
are also available to schools. Saving the school immediately up to $7,000 off the cost of a solar power system and savings in excess of $500 annually ($1300 or more in NSW and ACT)
National Solar Schools Program
Unfortunately the government has suspended new applications for the $50,000 solar grant, however new application are expected to open again in 2010-2011 financial year.
